Hi — I'm Dr Jenn Moore
As a private practice SLP lecturer, I’ve noticed a gap in the area of motor speech disorders in our field. We receive limited coursework in grad school, yet have clients with motor-speech deficits on our caseloads and read all the research but clinical application can be challenging!
Since the start of my career, I’ve zoned in on MSD and learned a LOT along the way. Now it’s my specialty and passion!
Information on motor speech disorders can be confusing, scarce, and inaccurate. And there’s SO much out there (motor vs. articulation vs. phonology) that it can leave therapists feeling lost and confused about what’s best for their clients.
I knew something needed to change, so I’ve set out to create a community dedicated to informing and educating SLPs about all things motor speech disorders.
